Dr. Brody's professional career spans two continents and numerous professional interests. Among his positions, Dr. Brody has served at the Institut de Biologie Physico-Chimique (Paris, France, 1970-1988), Centre de Genetique Moleculaire (Gif-sur-Yvette, France, 1988-1992 and 1996-1998), Professor and Chairman, Biology at SUNY (Buffalo, NY, 1992-1995), Vice President of Drug Discovery, NeXstar Pharmaceuticals (Boulder, CO, 1998-1999) and Chief Medical Officer, SomaLogic, Inc. (2000 - present). Dr. Brody has more than 60 publications to his credit, most of which are on bacteriophage and/or gene regulation processes. Dr. Brody earned both his M.D. and a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Chicago.

  MaryAnn DeGroote, MD

Dr. DeGroote received her Medical Doctorate in 1988 from the University of Iowa College of Medicine, and conducted her internship, residency, and clinical fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. From 1993 to 1994 she also conducted a research fellowship at the National Jewish Medical and Research Center in Denver, CO. Dr. DeGroote has over fifty scientific articles published or in process, as well as numerous presentations on infectious diseases. Dr. DeGroote was a 1997 Fulbright Scholar and won the Infectious Disease Society of America's Searle Award in 1995.

B. Joseph Guglielmo, Pharm.D. is Professor and Chair in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, School of Pharmacy at the University of California San Francisco. He also serves as Associate Director of Pharmaceutical Services at the UCSF Medical Center. Prior to his chairship, he was Vice Chair of Scholarship for the Department. His primary research interests involve the safe, effective, and appropriate use of antimicrobials, as well as the pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacokinetics of anti-infective agents. Dr. Guglielmo developed the Medical Center Antimicrobial Management Program in the 1980s and has mentored infectious diseases specialty residents and fellows continuously since 1986. He serves as long-term editor of Applied Therapeutics: The Clinical Use of Drugs and the Handbook for Applied Therapeutics.

  Jonathan Harte, MD

Dr. Harte is the Chairman of the Infection Control Committee and Co-Chair of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee at the Medical Center of Aurora, The Chirman of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and Infection Control Committee at Sky Ridge Medical Center, and the Chairman of the Infection Control Committee at Parker Adventist Medical Center. Dr Harte received his Medical Doctorate from the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 1990, conducted his residency in internal medicine at the Miriam Hospital, Brown University (Providence, RI), and held a fellowship in infectious diseases at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation (Cleveland, OH). Dr. Harte was voted in Colorado's 5280 Magazine in October 2005 as one of Denver's "Top Doctors".
